I have made so many of these for friends who had babies. Such a cute hat!

I liked the pattern a lot! It was very easy to follow the directions. Still I adjusted small parts like the strap and my version has two colours. The amount of yarn needed was spot on. My only problem was the sizing: although my gauge was correct the XS version was way too small for a German newborn. Did it again in S and it fitted perfectly.

super cute very size/ yarn adjustable quick little hat..mama's love it! for a boys version- i've done 3-4 rows of plain double crochet instead of the pattern to make it less "frilly" and it looks great!

This is such a cute hat pattern. Can't believe it was free. Will make an excellent addition to the (completed) hats listed in my sho.
