These mini crocheted octopuses can be your little companions wherever you go! Make a bunch just for fun, or ten of them for an Octopus Tic Tac Toe Set!

Each octopus is crocheted in one piece, with only a tiny bit of sewing at the end to seal up the bottom after stuffing fiber fill into the head ;-)

The octopus is worked in the round from the head down, beginning with a magic loop ring at the top of the head and ending with the eight tentacles.

Small seed beads are crocheted in for the eyes. The cute samples shown here were crocheted in fingering-weight mercerized cotton with a size C/2 crochet hook, but feel free to use any yarn and corresponding hook size for different-sized octopuses!
