Product Description

A beautiful multi-toned scarf to knit in a great lace pattern. The wavy lace stitch is deceivingly easy! A simple combination of decreases and yarn overs is all it takes. The instructions are very easy-to-follow, with extensive explanations and NO abbreviations. This is a great project for the beginner ready to try out a lace stitch.

Knit in a super soft and airy mohair blend called GGH Soft Kid Mohair. The two-tone effect comes from holding 2 strands of yarn together throughout.


Finished Knit Measurements: 49-1/2" long x 6-1/2" wide.

Skill Level: Easy knitting pattern

Yarn Used: GGH Soft Kid (70% Super Kid Mohair/25% Nylon/5% Wool; .875oz/25g [151yds/138m] per ball): 1 ball in Pink #55 (Color A) and 1 ball in Fushcia#28 (Color B).

Gauge(s):
Pattern Gauge: 24 stitches = 6 ½" and approx. 7 rows = 2" in Lace stitch using double strand of Soft-Kid on Size 11 [8mm] needles.
Yarn Label Gauge and Information:
A dk weight mohair with a gauge of ~ 4.5 stitches = 1" on size 5-6 needles

Approximately 151yds [138m] required of EACH color.
