Product Description

Like tinsel added as a finishing touch on a Christmas tree, this curved triangular shawl will add that oh-so-awesome touch of glitz and glam to any outfit.

Knit this shawl from the top center, with three sets of increases to fan out the shape into a semi-circle. The two side eyelet increase sets are then shifted to the edges when the lace pattern is started, creating the final curved triangular shape that allows this shawl to cascade quite elegantly at the tapered ends.

The lace pattern is a fairly simple, and very open, stitch pattern that complements the beauty of the glimmery silver yarn.

Fave/Queue this pattern on Ravelry.

Errata fixed 6/28/18: P. 5 LEFT LACE Row 3 should say "K2tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k3" at the beginning. Chart is correct as is.
Errata fixed 3/10/17: P.5 bottom, Row 16 should say kfb, p to marker. P. 6 top, Row 1: extra k1's after first pmB and before 2nd pmB should be deleted.

  1. Very delicate ...

    Posted by Jean-Marie on 24th May 2019

I purchased this to do a wedding shawl for a nephew's bride's wedding... I originally tried to use a different yarn, however, wound up getting the exact yarn used (in white)... It is turning out great.
