Product Description

What's not to love about this adorable cabled baby jacket?

First, it's knit from the top down, so the only seams you need to do are the sleeves. Also, it's knit in a wonderfully soft cashmere blend yarn on size 9 needles! Eyelets are used to create the raglan sleeve shaping. Increases are made to create the pretty, bloused empire-style front. Simple, little cables add great textural interest to the front. Ribbed cuffs, collar, and elegant wood buttons complete the jacket.

This is the fun, quick project that makes a fantastic gift for a little girl. Coordinates with the FREE cabled baby beanie pattern.

  1. Easy Toddler Sweater

I find it easy to knit because it is worked from the top down and the directions have a box to check off when you finish the row. It is easy to keep track of the row you are on.

  2. This pattern was simple enough to add multiple colors but still had enough detail to make the knitting interesting.

The finished jacket has a lot of visual appeal and used up small amounts of various yarns in my collection.
