Here is a vintage-inspired bolero jacket to wear with jeans or for any special occasion. The slim sleeves are elbow length. The sleeves, back, and curved front edges are all accented with a romantic lace border pattern. Fasten it with a sparkly vintage pin to complete the look (not included).
Finished Knit Measurements: 32-3/4 (36-1/2, 40)" bust.
Skill Level:
Yarn Used: GGH Soft-Kid (70% Super Kid Mohair/25% Nylon/5% Wool; .875oz/25g [151yds/138m] per ball): 3 (3, 4) balls in Fuchsia #28.
Gauge(s):
Pattern Gauge: 13 stitches = 3" and approx. 5 rows = 1" in St st on size 10 [6mm] needles.
Yarn Label Gauge and Information: A dk weight yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches = 4" on US size 4 to 6 needles..
Total Yardage Required: Approximately 453 (453, 604) yds [414 (414, 552) m].

Last week I purchased the # 36 Bolero pattern and I am almost finished knitting it. Seldom have I seen such clear instructions. I have thoroughly enjoyed making this bolero and hope to giv it as an appreciated gift. I will be watching for more interesting patterns.
