Is it a lace shawl or scarf? Either, depending on how you choose to wear it that day. What is not in question is how much you will love this wisp of an accessory! The mohair and silk lace weight yarn is supremely soft to knit with and a pleasure to wear against the skin.
This shawl actually starts at the top center, with 3 sets of eyelet increases that cause the stitches to fan out into a semi-circular shape. The two side eyelet increase sets are then shifted to the edges when the lace pattern is started, creating the final triangular shape.
The lace pattern is a very open double-leaf design that perfectly complements the Stockinette stitch and creates a gently peaked border.
