Sometimes you just need a little something something to cover your shoulders.
Here's a very stylish solution - a quick knit, shawl-collared shrug! It features a textured, open rib stitch contrasted with a 2x2 ribbed, chic shawl-collar. Ribbed cap sleeves finish the look.
This seamless design begins with the back, which is knit from the bottom up. Then, stitches are picked up around the rest of the edges and the remainder of the shrug is knit in the round.
Short rows are used to give the shawl-collar its great shape and to create the little cap sleeves that finish off the armholes.
A great, easy look over sexy tank dresses or slim long-sleeves tops.

I made this shrug for a birthday gift for my niece who is a fashionista. She loved it!

like it so much I've made 3! Super easy and doesn't use much yarn. I used leftovers from other projects.

Any patterns I have ever purchased from Sweaterbabe have been amazing! Techniques and procedures are very well explained. My first lace pattern was a Sweaterbabes pattern. Now when doing anything lacy I prefer her patterns.
