A cute round baby head deserves a fancy cabled hat like this to keep it warm. This one is knit in the round with a great diamond cable pattern that changes to a simple cable as it travels up the crown. Easy decreases and a ribbed border give it its great shape.
The small cables gather at the top to create a pretty floral pattern.
Optional ear flaps and ties are knit on after. Smallest size requires only one ball of lusciously soft Debbie Bliss Cashmerino yarn.
A fast project with great appeal!

Love this pattern. My daughter is expecting in December and I've already made a couple of these in different sizes. Also made one for my three y old grandson. Very easy and works up nicely in all if the yarns that I've used. Will be making more of these.
