These little knit gift pouches are great stash-busters and fast projects! Use them to hold gift cards, credit cards, or business cards.

If you're new to knitting, the Garter Stitch one is a good one to start with as it only uses the knit stitch. Once you're ready to try the purl stitch, the Stockinette Stitch pouch is a nice project.

The Cable one is the next step, combining knit and purl stitches on the same row and adding in a basic cable twist. Lastly, the Lace one is a little more involved, adding in increase and decrease techniques.

All are knitted in worsted-weight yarns and only require about 20 yards per pouch. Originally featured in my Meetup Live Stitch It Up! demo. Click here for the recording of this event, where I demo some of the techniques needed to complete these pouches.
